Art Around the World

Come join us on an international adventure in the arts! On the first day, make a “passport” and depart on an imaginative expedition around the world. Each day you visit a different country, region, or culture, learning about its art, music, legends, and folklore. Along the way, you learn customs from each country, hear its traditional and modern music, and listen to legends and folk tales as you make art. You might make simple musical instruments, paint in sand, create jewelry, or work in mud and clay. You will go home with at least one art project per day as a “souvenir” from your journey, and your passport will get filled up with stamps from around the world! A sample list of places you go and things you make: Greece, France, China, Peru, Haiti, Nigeria and Australia
